Heartful Of Dominick

Dominick is a vivacious two year old boy with a smile that warms hearts and a contagious little giggle! He loves to eat Pizza, climb on everything, run around outside, play with his toys (especially his cars), go to exciting places like the zoo, great adventure and sesame place! He is your typical two year old boy and looking at him its hard to believe what he has gone through in his first years of life.

Dominick was born with a severe congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic left heart syndrome. He had his 1st open heart surgery at just 5 days old and his second surgery at 4 months old with some complications that kept him in the hospital for almost 3 months. He still needs another surgery in the coming years, and we pray everyday for the strength to get through the coming surgery. Dominick is a miracle,and we know how blessed with are to have him.  His strength and resilience amaze us but we know that his future is filled with so much uncertainty. 

We are walking on Sunday September 24th to support the effort of Big Hearts To Little Hearts and their quest to help those affected by CHD. We would love for you to walk besides us on Team: Heartful of Dominick and/or consider making a donation (no amount is too small) to support our efforts. We hope that these efforts will help provide research, awareness and prevention to the most common birth defect in the world and give children like our sweet boy, Dominick hope for the future.
