My dear friend and colleague, Juliette, experienced the life-saving efforts of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia when her son, Maximilian, was born with a congenital heart problem. The doctors operated on Max saving his life and he is now a thriving 8 year old boy!
I will be running 8K with Juliette on November 19th on behalf of Big Hearts to Little Hearts, an organization whose mission is to lengthen and improve the lives of congenital heart disease patients by funding critical research and programs for CHOPs Cardiac Center.
