Makayla is a six year old little girl who is energetic and full of life. She was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome which hasn’t stopped her from living her life to the fullest.
Makayla was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) which left Makayla with half of a properly functioning heart. Since her birth in 2011 she has undergone 3 open heart surgeries; and hasn’t stopped being energetic, spunky and full of life. Makayla loves dancing, singing, swimming, goofing around, and spending time with her friends and family especially her brother Matty. In September, Makayla will be in the first grade at Avon Elementary where she enjoys Reading and Spanish.
Since Makayla’s birth our family has made a decision to work towards helping others who are born with CHD have the best treatment and to help others live the best life they can by giving HOPE. By raising money we strive to help research, to find programs and treatment and to lead to an end of CHD. Please help our team meet our goals!!
